LATASHA KENNEDY (Writer/Director/Executive Producer/Actress)

Latasha Kennedy is a screenwriter, actress, producer, and filmmaker. Recent credits include For My Man (TV ONE), I Dated a Psycho (Investigation Discovery), and Nightmare Next Door (Investigation Discovery). Latasha has also been afforded the opportunity to sing for two U.S. Presidents, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, for special events including: Kennedy Center Honors (CBS), Christmas in Washington (TNT), and We Are One: The Obama Inaugural Celebration (HBO).

Currently, Latasha is developing content for television, film, and new media through her production company, LMK Entertainment Group. Her content is inspired by her esteem for fearless, young women on the rise, young families striving to raise next-generation leaders, and the African-American community at large.

In 2016, Latasha produced and starred in her comedic short film, Meltdown. She went on to write a spin-off web series called, She's Such A Mom. The series' pilot was a semi-finalist for the Sundance/YouTube Episodic Lab in 2016 and is currently in pre-production.

Latasha’s bottomline is to make her mark and a valuable impact on young people who come up behind her. She is an active member of the New York Women in Film and Television and the Black TV and Film Collective. Her spare time is spent with family and friends, reading, and watching stand-up comedy. She is a wife and mom of two boys.

DR. ROBERT KENNEDY, JR (EXECUTIVE PRODUCER)

Dr. Robert Kennedy, Jr. is a board certified internist and has been a member of the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Hospital medical staff since 2014.  He works as an Attending Physician at both UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center – Bel Air and at UM Hartford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD.

Dr. Kennedy received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2011 from the Ross University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine/Jacobi Medical Center in New York. He is a member of the American College of Physicians.

RANI ROBINSON (PRODUCER)

In 2017, Rani joined the team at LMK Entertainment Group to produce scripted and unscripted content alongside her good friend Latasha Kennedy. Rani co-produced ‘One Last Goodbye’ with Latasha in April 2018.

Rani brings 16+ years experience in the digital media space. Her work has taken her from Washington, DC, to Los Angeles and to Singapore, producing, directing digital content in support of Travel Channel, TLC, HGTV, DIYNetwork and more. 

Throughout her career she’s produced many digital series including HGTV’s House Tours with host of Flipping Virgins, Egypt Sherrod, and Flip or Flop Atlanta’s Anita and Ken Corsini. Additional series she produced include My Hometown and Day in the Life with actor Brian Unger (Travel Channel). Rani has also produced the upcoming digital series for Travel Channel, Man v. NYC, featuring Man v. Food’s Casey Webb and Food Network’s Vivian Chan.

MONIQUE HAZEUR (producer)

Monique Hazeur is a Brooklyn-based writer and filmmaker originally from Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Her short film, "Black Coffee and Beignets”, was featured at the annual New York Women In Film & Television New Works Lab Showcase. Her co-written webseries, "She's Such a Mom", was a semi-finalist for the 2016 Sundance/YouTube New Voices Lab.

Monique has worked in various capacities on several web series and films, including PariahThe Deported and Baby Mama Drama. A graduate of New York University, Monique attended Howard University's MFA film program, where she gained a deep appreciation for the legacy of filmmakers of the African diaspora.

Jerry Aquino is a Director of Photography based in Jersey City, NJ. He began studying photography, art, and music at an early age. He obtained an M.F.A in the Integrated Media Arts and Production program at New Jersey City University.

Jerry Aquino has worked on film and commercial projects. In the fall of 2016, he was invited to Princeton University by Filmmaker Lynn Sachs to screen one of his first works under formal training titled Lady Name America. Since then Jerry has continued to communicate visually and recently screened his thesis film, Uoy, at Anthology Film Archives in New York. Throughout the last two years, his work for the Documentary Used has become official selections of Florida Film Festival DOC NYC, New Filmmakers, and Pride Film Festival.

Roderick Bradford, Jr is an actor based in New York City. He graduated from Johnson C. Smith University with a BA in Visual Performing Arts. He later went on to receive his MFA from Regent University. chavon t. sutton (Cassandra “cassie” thompson)

Chavon is a multi-gifted artist who has appeared in several film, television, and theatre productions. Recent performances include Finding Our WayStupid Cupid12 Angry Women, and In the Blood.  An avid singer/songwriter, Chavon, is a classically trained soprano who has performed at New York's famed Ashford and Simpson's Sugar Bar, Village Underground and the National Opera Center America. Chavon has studied acting and improvisation skills at New York’s Barrow Group and famed-Upright Citizens Brigade, respectively.

A native of Newark, NJ, Chavon is also passionate about education. She holds a BA in Economics from University of Pennsylvania, and two Masters degrees rom NYU. She’s also passionate about giving back and is the first African American elected to serve as a Board member of the Hyde Leadership Charter School in the Bronx.  She loves to binge movies, and travel.  She currently lives, loves and thrives in Brooklyn, NY.
